Many of artist Sarah Rogers'
subjects - wolves, bears, crows, horses - are familiar to her rural Wyoming
neighbors; but the vibrant colors spring entirely from her imagination.
The result has been described as "tropical western wildlife".
Sarah's
medium is watercolor, usually combined with graphite. She frequently applies
several layers of heavy color to create the bright tones and often
opaque quality of the paint. She prefers smooth surfaces and uses hot
pressed paper or plate smooth illustration board.
We hope you see something
here on Sarah's site that you'll find a special place for in your home

stays busy here in her Sundance, Wyoming, studio so please check this
site often to see her latest work.
You can purchase limited editions of Sarah's
art online. Originals and some prints are available at these
